Hi all, we have a 21' above ground pool. Here's a pic of our solar cover. We're curious what your routine is? Okay, so we lay it out in the pool, obviously. Where do you put it when you take it off? We don't want to get a bunch of dirt and junk on it. Do you roll it up? Lay it on the ground? Have a special storage system? Thanks all!

Yeah, if you don't have a hanger or reel, don't just grab it at one end and drag if off then across your grass or pavement. you're just going to mess it up and get it dirty, so when you put it back in all that stuff is getting in the water. Worst case, you can either roll it up or fold it while it's still on the water, then take it off and set it somewhere clean. At least then you'd minimize what touches the grass, pavement, dirt, whatever, and less damage to it that way.

Dragging it over the edge of the pool, or anywhere for that matter is how rips happen. All it takes is one stubburn flap / edge / twig....... of course some part of it will need to touch somewhere, but minimalize it the best you can for prolonged life.
