solar cover cleaning

How do you all clean your solar blanket? Mine is a 16 mil and quite heavy. I have been trying to turn it upside down every so often and let it clean that way, but that's a hassle. I don't want to take it completely off. Any one have any clever ideas?

I use my brush and hose to clean while it is on the pool but it just gets a fine layer of dust on it a couple of days later.

Hi Neighbor.
I brush the top with a pool brush, vinyl cleaner (safe for pools), bleach and water. We take the cover off and make sure it dries out. I don't recall ever seeing algae on the "bubble" side, only the top, and that's been when we've left it on for long periods of time and water gathers on top. I have not tried to clean the "bubble" side.

I hose off the top of the solar cover while it is in the pool and direct all the water and debris into the skimmer. Then I roll up the cover and empty the skimmer basket.

I always took mine off and out into the yard where i walked on it with a stiff brush/broom and a bucket filled with soapy water. Then a good hosing off.
