Solar collector layout - 2 areas or just 1?

I'm planning on moving my solar collectors and increasing the number of panels.
Currently have about 100% panel area to pool surface area.

New location will have lots more space and out of sight.

We want to increase this % to 150% or more to increase the output and widen the season.

Now do I connect more in parallel (1 area) or have 2 areas of panels in series?

Say if I have 14 panels -
all 14 together or 2 x 7 panels in series?
Each panel is 0.5mx3m.

I guess I have to look at the flow also if I have enough to feed 14 together.
Manufacturer says 250l/hr per m2.
21 m2 total panels
5250 litres/hr

Currently my pumps output is about 6000 litres/hr with 8 panels.

Thanks

Always go with parallel. It is much more efficient. Both heat wise and energy wise.

Also, while adding panels may be able to improve the daily heat gain, without a heat retention strategy, it may be for nothing.

Thanks!

Heat retention in other words a cover? We have a new 600micron cover which is prooving to give superb heat retention.
We've had most nights falling to about 15-18c and windy.
May lose 1-2c at most overnight. Morning temps are around 30c at the moment.
Got up to 33c yesterday with an air temp of 26c.

But we are in peak summer.
The idea of adding more panels is to maintain the pool at 28-30 for as long as possible during end of summer and Autumn.

My wife is very happy!
