Help!! I’m losing my mind. I have small brown spots on the tanning ledge, stairs and some on the pool floor (fiberglass 7,500 gallons) . I can’t seem to find the source. I noticed a spot on the pool deck and around the bottom of the railing.
Only thing I can think of is I had a new deck built with metal railings. The contractor welded the metal and then went to other jobs. When he came back, the metal had rusted. He then sanded it. It was pretty breezy while he was doing ut. Did this cause all my problems?!? The pool is only 7 months old and I’m sick to my stomach.
I tried Ascorbic acid. I couldn’t tell if it was working or not. pool builder told me dump some in and let sit for 30 mins and then run the pump. No difference
