I opened our pool about a week ago and the water was pretty dirty, so I started the SLAM process. I've been maintaining my FC levels overnight and the water looks nice and clear, but the CC levels are high now. Yesterday, I got a 2 and then got as high as 3. This morning, it dropped down to a 2 again. Basically, I need to keep SLAMing until I see the CC levels come down on their own, right?
Here are the numbers from this morning:
FC: 13 (added liquid chlorine to get to 12 last night, but may have slightly miscalculated)
CC: 2
Other stats from before I started SLAM:
CYA: 30 (I know this is a bit on the low side... I plan on raising it to 40-50 after the SLAM is over)
pH: 7.5
TA: 110
