ScreenLogic Ports

Hi Everyone,

We have just had a PentAir ScreenLogic system put in for our Pool. I am hoping any IT related people can help - We currently have a problem whereby as our Corporate Firewall is locked down i am unable to get the ScreenLogic Connect Software to connect to their email server. Does anybody here on this forum know what these particular ports would be as they appear to be non-standard from what i can see.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As default Set to DHCP
local host uses port# 80
Outbound network uses port# 1444
Outbound TCP connection port# 500
Outbound TCP connection port range 7575-27587

If that does not work I suggest you contact Pentair Tech Support although I realize it may be difficult from where you are located.

As an update for anyone still interested in this - I escalated all the way through Pentair support and they will not release the DNS/URL or IP addresses of the destination servers or a list of the IP ports/protocols leveraged for the ScreenConnect software. The escalation engineer stated "The answer I received is Pentair does not share this information or makes it public." after going through his internal escalations. From my findings, the above ports are not currently accurate for operations from the Screenlogic Protocol Adapter. The ports and IP's I have seen are listed below:



IP is set as DHCP

Local connection is TCP 80

Outbound Connection Ports:

UDP 53 - DNS - required

UDP 453 - unknown intermittent use - only to one observed IP listed below

TCP 500 - Key Management/isakmp? - frequent and required - only to one observed IP listed below

TCP 1000 - unknown - frequent and required

TCP 7575 - unknown - frequent and required

TCP range 32200 - 32600 (currently observed usage between 32269 - 32504) - dynamic and used when connecting to Screenlogic App



Observed connection IP's along with validated IP from tech support troubleshooting (US/North America):

Validated with Tech Support:

104.130.244.134 - Texas USA - primary IP - observed most often - only observed port is TCP 1000

104.130.253.134 - Georgia USA - secondary IP - observed as remote connection IP with UDP 453, TCP 7575, and TCP range

Observed:

166.78.45.67- Texas USA - appears to be the initial connection server - only observed port is TCP 500

Additional Observed:

104.130.135.220 - Washington USA

104.130.136.29 - Washington USA
