Hi all, my question is purely in terms of salt cell longevity, assuming all other things equal.

Is it easier on the cell to run X hours @ Y% or 2X hours @ Y/2%

Looking at Circupool RJ45 for 25k liner pool, of that matters.

Sorry if this is already stated and I couldn't find it

Thanks!

It's all the same.
10 hours at 50% is exactly the same as 5 hours at 100%.
Cells have a finite life span, usually expressed in hours of run time at 100%.

Consider getting the RJ60+. If you look at the RJ45+ page, there should be an upgrade option for $20. So you are getting 25% more chlorine over the cell life span for $20 more than the RJ45+ price (or $200 more than the RJ30+ with the upgrade to the RJ45+ -- either way, a better deal if you can swing it).
