Running pool all year instead of shutting it down for the winter.

Hi all,I am thinking about just running my pool all year. What are some you your thoughts on this?

Many do. The maintenance is much less once daily FC demand plummets. That dose of chlorine will last a week or weeks.

My pool is open all year. During the off season I only need to add chlorine once a week.

We leave it going year round. I just reduce the number of hours a day the SWG runs since demand goes down. I pretty much ignore it and it runs itself.

I have a 2 speed pump and run it 24/7.
