New to using a robotic vaccuum, love it but my Dolphin Appollo (yes an older model) is creating a white chalky mess. It seems to be occurring when it is scrubbing at the bottom of the tiles that sit just under the edge of the pool. Is there anything that I do to prevent this? When I push on the foam wheels, I can see the whiteness and the pool gets slightly cloudy. help please!

Welcome to TFP.

What type of pool do you have?

Grout should be used around pool tile, not caulk. Did someone use the wrong material in your pool?

Show us pics of the problem areas.

I mistakenly referred to it as caulk. We have always used grout in the last 10 years when making repairs, not sure what the previous used. Lowering water now to do some repairs to gunite close to the same area. Now that water is lowered it appears that it might be gunite that the vacuum is tearing up. Pics are attached. All suggestions welcomed. Thank you!
