Resetting Salt Measure on ProLogic 4.45

At least I think it is a 4.45.

I had a fouled SWG. Cleaned it. Plugged it in.
  • "SALT LEVEL LOW" or something like that message.

  • My salt level is higher than 3200 ppm.

Tried to reset salt level, but the instructions in the PDF noted below don't seem to work:
  • "ProLogic_4.45_Troubleshooting_Guide.pdf"

After a while it reset itself and is now working correctly.
  • I would like to know how to reset the salt level from the get-go?

What do you get at each of these four steps?

Thanks. I posted this and forgot. I'll report back tomorrow.

In the interim, the SWG keeps shutting down. I can restart it, but it shuts down again.

My salt level is between 3300 (Leslie's) and 3600 (my Tailor kit.)

Cell was cleaned three or four weeks ago.

ajw22 - thanks for the information. It turns out that's exactly what I was doing.

When I turn on the pump and the delay is satisfied, the SWG will start at between 3200 and 3600 ppm (correct range) @~25 volts and 7 amps then quickly drop in several steps to 2200 PPM @~25 volts and 5 amps. Then it will shut down after about one minute and tell me the salt level is too low.

The SWG was cleaned about for weeks ago. Did I perhaps leave some schmutz in it such that it is still fowled?

How old is the cell?

Is it the same one from this thread?
