Repurposed Solar Cover

I found a couple of posts in our forum regarding the recycling of solar covers, but it didn't cover my question.

Can I use my old solar cover as a weed barrier under some rocks? Does anyone know if this will harm my rock garden at all?

It shouldn’t be a problem. The plastic disintegration is mostly due to UV exposure, so it may last a while covered by rocks.

I see a problem when the thing starts breaking down. You'll have little blue plastic circles everywhere!

Thanks guys. I imagine having little blue circles for sure. they already clog my filter, hence the recycling part.. I've already started laying it down.
