Replaster finished and pool is filling today. PB gave start up instructions and say they will do an initial start up but since today is Friday, they won't come until Monday. pool is just about filled 6pm fri night. he'll come on Monday and per the instructions, I won't add any chlorine until next Friday. I asked if that would cause algae and they said no since it's brand new plaster and the weather is below 60, it should be fine until Friday. Is it okay for the pool to sit fill of tap water, no chemicals, and no equipment running for almost 72 bours? What do y'all think? also I have some pictures if stuff I'm not really happy about but I'm not sure if I'm over reacting or not: plaster residue in the brand new skimmer, the tile around the opening of the skimmer has plaster on one side. I wouldn't care if it had it or not but half and half looks odd. The line where the plaster meets the tile is messy in a few spots. there's 2 return jets, one is flush (which is what I want, no pic attached) but one is quite recessed. Am I over reacting about these things (or maybe some of them) and should I follow their start up or do my own thing?

Pool water will be fine for 72 hours.
Skimmer residue, skimmer face with plaster on half and plaster on the bottom of other tiles are details that should have been corrected before the job was left.
The plaster crew cuts and sets the distance for the returns typically to be flush with the plaster.
All these concerns are important to you and need to be conveyed to your PB.147371EA-9BA3-41CB-A612-382A4277BF92.jpeg
