Greetings

The screw on the heater bonding lug is frozen so I can't get a copper wire in it. I tried PB Blaster WB 40 and nothing has helped.

So I bought a new lug. When I remove the screw that mounts the lug to the heater. Is there anything I should
look out for? Captive nut in the heater etc? Or will it thread into the existing threads?

Thanks

This problem is fairly common. Just get a replacement, remove and clean the threads that attach to the frame very thoroughly and replace. Make sure the replacement lug can attach with the right size screw and use a new screw. You want to get a tight clean attachment.
