Is there ever a reason to replace all of the pool water?

If so then would it be advisable to pump out the water to "waste" through the main drain?

Would that damage anything? Liner?

This would be an expensive thing to do because of the cost to refill the water, but I am curious as I inherited my pool when we purchased the house and I am not sure as to what's in the water.

My readings using the K-2006 are within the norms for a Vinyl SWG.

My son who is 4 always ends up drinking some pool water when we go swimming and it upsets his tummy. He doesn't have the same problem when swimming in my brothers pool.
