Hi I am repairing cracked pebble tec with E-Z patch 9 pebble repair on my spa which had a crack and was leaking water. I cut pebble tec around the crack and removed it , the surface underneath was very sandy. I used a demolition hammer to gently probe and remove the sandy loose areas.

My question is what kind of cement can i use to first repair the gunite before I then repair with the E-Z patch ? I am planning on this lasting just one more summer before resurfacing entire pool and spa in the fall.IMG_0249 (1).jpg

Use hydraulic cement.

I hope that low quality gunite is not through out your pool.
