I'm a decade long pool owner and hired a local company to handle our remodel.
There are two things I am concerned about, the pictures attached are of the tile. They did a solid job leveling them with the pool deck, but the faces are not level. If you look down the tile line it's decently wavy. Some pics of the difference attached. Is this normal for a renovation? I've done some tile and stone work and I would assume they can face everything evenly (maybe a little off in the corners) given the 1/4-1/2 mortar bed they have to work with.

Also, the new skimmer is almost half an inch raised from the pool deck. They molded the new concrete up to it nicely, but it creates a small mound. Certainly they could have gotten it flush with the pool deck?
Thanks for the advice and support!

Welcome to TFP.

Yes, it could be better. What do you want them to do now?

Things like this should have been inspected as the work was done and could be adjusted.

No one who is enjoying your pool will be putting a level along your tile.

Thanks for the reply Allen. You're right, once water is in others shouldn't notice.
