Recommendations for Shock for a SWP

New pool owner here. I am looking for recommendations for what brand shock to use on my salt water pool.

"Shock" for what???

Just to be clear.. You might need to use Liquid Chlorine to get your FC up at the beginning of the year, but you should never need to add pool store shock on a weekly, or routine, basis..

Kind of the whole point of having a SWCG.

Everyone has been telling me to shock the pool once a week. The prior owner home did as well.

Follow TFP Pool Care Methods and the correct FC/CYA Levels and weekly shocking is never required.
