A large x shaped tear (~1ft long for each of the two tears) in our ~25k gallon in ground PVC liner appeared today, I've covered it with pvc sheet but the liner is fading and mottled and I expect it is getting brittle and needs to be replaced. Last time was prior to the previous home owner so ~8 years ago and we can't find who did it then. Any recommendations for an East Bay (SF Bay Area) company to replace the liner? I'm having a hard time finding anyone on yelp or reddit.

I can't help you in your area but it was very hard to find someone in my area. What I ended up doing is visiting the pool stores that sells pools to ask who they used for their customers. I will also tell you just asking on the phone did not work as that person did not have a clue.
