Hi everyone. I am in year 4 of this process and it has worked fantastically thanks to this forum. This year we went away for a week and my neighbor did not keep up they way I asked. I had cloudy water and algae on the bottom on sides. I have been slamming for 3 days now and water was totally clear yesterday and survived the overnight test Friday night. So I let it drip down to normal FC level with CYA=70. I twas around FC 12. Today it is a very small bit cloudy and algae appeared again. Do I need to slam again?? I am kind of surprised.
FC: 14 (just raised it this AM back to 22 ish)
CC: .5 or less
TA: 110
CYA: 70
PH: 7.6 ish (tough to read when FC is high so kinda ignore

Scratching my head on this one.
Thanks for your help!!
Just renewed my bronze membership today to help keep this place going :)

Did you meet all three criteria for the end of a SLAM Process? Read the article. With CYA of 70 your SLAM level FC is 28 ppm.

Stay at SLAM level until you meet all three criteria.

No need to test any other items than FC until the end of the SLAM.
