I need to replace my rapid drain flap on my dolphin T45. I need any advice on how to get the little nubby things to actually insert into the holes to hold it in place! Help!
Pic of the old one and new one partially seated but not fully installed.

Jen,

In theory, you should just have to push the numbs, one at a time, from the back side into the holes..

I have never replaced a drain flap, but have done several other similar devices... I often had to push from the back, while pulling from the front, with small needle-nose pliers.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks! I used a small screwdriver to help push it through just enough to be able to grab the rubber from the other side and pull through. I also dragged the handle end of the screwdriver across the rubber to help guide it fully into position. It wasn’t easy but it worked!
