I understand what you are saying. Our idea comes from other things we do in life. Like sugar, or salt. You can put enough sugar into a glass of tea such that no more will dissolve. Then you will start getting sugar appearing on the bottom. Shortly after that you get the to sweet tea level that the folks down here think is good.
So we blithely believe that the same should be true in other things like DPD powder. Good to have the definitive word on that. Doesn't help those of us who are trying to conserve our testing supplies, though. Guess it's back to adding 'til pink and hoping for the best.
