Quick question

So my pool is going in in about 3 weeks...I live in Ct so even tho I have a heater it will be too cold so I'm assuming they will install and then close the pool??
I'm getting a swg but I'm assuming I don't add any salt this year and just wait until spring? Hiw do you all handle fall installs with swg pools?

Get clear with your builder what he suggests and intends to provide.

Don't sweat it too much if he doesn't provide much......we;ll all help you do what you need to do.

Your 55 degree (?) fill water likely won't warm up enough to run the SWG by the time the pool is built. Wait until spring for adding salt. You will drain some to close and if using a mesh cover, will drain a couple of times. Salt is $8 a 40lb bag so wasting some won't break the bank, but still, there's just no reason to add it now.
