Question on water feature pump

Hi. Thanks to everyone in this forum - this place has really helped me over the years get a grip on my own pool.

I have a water feature for my pool that uses a pump that sends water into 2 simple waterfall slits that dump into the pool.
It uses a switch next to the light switch.
It used to make a clicking sound and sometimes I had to push it few times in order to have the pump turn on.
But now it just keeps making multiple clicking sounds (sounds like a machine gun) and the pump never turns on.
I didn't want to call for a pool hardware help yet so does anyone have an idea of what is going on?
Is it a bad switch or a is the pump stuck or bad or something?

Thanks in advance.

What makes a clicking sound? The switch or the pump?

You probably should replace the switch.
