Hi, I'm replacing my Aquapure 700 cell and have a question about the DC wiring to the control panel, as none of the references I can find mention anything about the wiring colours, or the polarity of the 2 used pins out of 3 on the cell .
The board has 2 terminals, one marked -ve and green, the other +ve and black & white. The cell connector has red and blue as the colours.
The existing cell had the red wire, from the cell connected to the -ve terminal, which goes against most of what I've always thought about wiring colours.
Or does it not matter, as when the cell is "reversing", I'm assuming (hopefully correctly) that it means the +ve and -ve are reversed, meaning the only consequences would be the light on the panel would be out of step with what's really happening.
