I have an INTEX 26ft x 52in XTR round frame above ground pool. We purchased the "upgrade" intex SF70110-2 pump/filter. It is a .5hp pump with a 16in (77lb) filter.
The pump/filter has not been able to keep up with the volume of the pool, and required almost constant backwashing just to keep operating.
I am looking to upgrade to a 1.5hp pump with a larger filter.
What is the difference between the Hayward power-Flo and power-Flo Matrix lines?
With the volume of my pool what minimum size filter would be recommended?
I understand there may need some connection reconfiguring due to hose sizes also.
