Pump on pool mode, pumping into spa

I am a new pool owner, please help. Within the past two days I have noticed my water features stopped working throughout the day. The features, cascade and bubbler, are typically running as long as the pool pump is functioning. On further inspection, I realized that while the pump is set to pool mode, the pump is instead diverting the water to the spa. I then placed the pump to spa mode, the features began the pool jets were also running, but the water in the spa began to drain.
I spoke with my contractor and they were of no help, told me to call pentair rather than help me troubleshoot the problem.
Any advice or tips are welcome! I am way over my head.

Welcome to the forum!
Go to the actuator on the return valve that sends the water either to the pool or the spa.
Move the toggle switch to the opposite ON position. See if that cures the issue.
