I discovered a leak in my filter pump late last week. I'm assuming it's the shaft seal, I don't see water leaking around the inlet, outlet or basket, only under the motor housing. It was a fairly slow leak that looks to be growing. I have a warranty maintenance call for Tuesday (6 more days), but I'm wondering if I should stop running the pump, or reducing the run time until then.
I have a separate pump for water features that also has a return into the pool, I could run that for circulation, but it obviously won't utilize the skimmer or SWCG.
I appreciate any advice.
