Price of Chemicals

I bought a bit of Liquid Chlorine and Muriatic Acid probably 3 months ago. I went online to check availability of Muriatic Acid at Home Depot. Holy Cow! $18 for 2 gallons! When did the price go up that much? I know I only use about a quart per week, but wow!

HomeDepot used to offer a discount if you bought 4 boxes of acid. I dont think they do that anymore.

I did find stabilizer one place that was reasonable. So I bought 50 pounds of it. You know, since my pool just eats stabilizer.

I'm on an Amazon "Subscribe and Save" for the CYA. They ship me 7 lbs of stabilizer every 4 months. So far, it is working out. And I get a 15% discount.
