Hello everyone,

Got some good news- my company is now a dealer for the Attendant units by Poolside Tech. I've been learning A TON about chemical controllers/automation units for the past six months. I'm on the commercial side of things, but I'd be interested to hear what you prefer to use. In my area, the fastest growing brand is Prominent, with Becs and Hayward being the other commonly used units. I hate asking sales reps about their products- id rather hear first hand what it's been like to work with.

Thoughts?

We do not recommend probe based chemical controllers. They are more trouble then they are worth.

ORP probes do not work well with our recommended CYA levels and SWGs.

pH and chlorine levels can be maintained by simpler and less expensive methods.

Thanks! ORP seems to work well for Chlorine sanitized pools, but I totally understand the difficulties inherent with salt. I should have thought harder about it....
