Pool pump troubleshoot

Came home and pump wouldn’t turn on. No him, click, just nothing when I turn the black dial on the timer. Can hear the pool timer clicking so it’s getting electricity to the pool area. Checked the capacitor with a multimeter and on 200k or 2000k it starts at zero and continues to go up until it hits the number set on the dial.

attaching picture of the model. What else can I check? Impeller spins freely as well.

I also noticed in that picture you can see what I think is the bonding wire has broken off of the pump. How do I fix that? Would that be a sign or the pump not working, or a side effect of it not working?

Is the pump wired for 230V or 120V?

Have you checked voltage at the pump?

Bonding wire disconnected does not effect pump operation.

Open up the back of the pump and connect your multimeter to L1 and L2 and watch the voltage when you turn on the pump.

See pictures for detail...

the way the positioned my motor facing the wall I can’t get the bolts out to get the cover off. Also one of the bolts isn’t wanting to turn and I’ve snapped one of these before on an older pool I had.

I tried to test voltage at the timer instead. The voltage was normal 230-240 from the main line into the blue/black and red wires connections. I then tested the other set of wires (red and yellow and blue and dark blue) which go to the pump) and only could get .30 V. Is that possible? Can the timer get power but not send it? How else could I verify that if so?

The timer is not "sending" power. Is there a manual on/off switch? Maybe the little green tab is broken and not making contact. Also, I noticed a temperature switch. That could also not be closing the contact to send power.

You can bypass wire the timer if you are comfortable and turn the pump on/off via the breaker temporarily (if there is no switch) until you can get a new timer.

So looks like the pump is shot. Wired it direct its getting voltage, but won't click on, even with the new capcitor.

Where is best place online to get a new one. am i looking for this, based on that picture of my label?

!

Ive done this once before about 10 years ago. don't i need to replace the shaft seal as well? basically one of these kits?

any help is greatly appreciated!
