I have a Raypak 156. 3rd year in service. The pilot is lighting (burner box is hot where the pilot is) but the burners will not light. Keeps sparking until ignition failure code pops up. then it resets and starts again. It has been working speraticaly this week. But not constantly. Any idea on what could be the issue?

Yep. i will try. i cleaned unit from above after removing the heat exchanger. but didnt pull the burner try yet.
Flame sense needs to be cleaned. It is the "fork" above the flame on the pilot burner. Because it keeps sparking after the pilot is lit, it is not sensing the flame.
