Pool heater auto flow control?

I have an in-ground pool with Jandy pump, filter and heater equipment. See equipment in signature below.

My pump runs from 8am-4pm. If heater is turned on during that period and set to a temperature it doesn’t reach, right up until 4pm...what will happen when pump automatically stops water flow?

Does anyone know if the heater will shut-off without damage if the pump cycles off on a timer? Or, do I need to always remember to shut off heater before pump shuts down to prevent damage?

The heater will automatically shut off when water flow stops.

Thanks so much. I've been living in a near state of panic...afraid I'd forget to shut off the heater and the inside would melt without water.
