will i need to buy 8ft long roll of screen and lose a foot or will it stretch enough? edge to edge the poles in my cage are 7 feet apart, but i will need a bit more than that to get the rubber rope to lock it in.
pool cage poles are exactly 7 feet apart...

Screen doesn't stretch. The key to replacing screen is to have extra on all sides and cut it off once the spline is rolled into place. Use new spline (the old can get brittle from the UV) and make sure you have the spline roller tool.
