Last year I developed mustard algae. If I use my Aqua Broom from last year in my new pool, is there any risk of getting mustard algae again? I've replaced all the old pool floats, & pool maintenance items (poles and nets) too.
No, if the aqua broom has not been in the water, that algae should be way dead by now. I'd clean the dust and debris off it, but there should not be any living algae on it.
