Polaris VRX IQ

I live in Dallas Texas and I just picked up my Polaris VRX IQ for my pool. Currently it is very hot (104 degrees) in Dallas and I am looking for recommendations and advice where the best place to install the cleaner's caddy and controller? Can I just leave it outside while the cleaner is running? Thanks

I always leave mine outside 24x7, though it's always in the shade. No problems yet (1 season so far)
