With this new pool season my polaris 280 has been problematic. I have narrowed the problem to the booster pump. Here is what is happening.
There is very little pool side pressure unless I disconnect the hoses on the booster. Once I do this and reconnect everything the pool side pressure is good and the polaris runs fine. This would suggest there is air somewhere that is preventing water flow to the booster pump. There are no air bubbles in the pool return lines or the booster pump dedicated return. I have replaced the propeller and the propeller seal. There is no water leaking from the booster pump. The booster pump motor is new replaced last year. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
