Plastic like material from the plaster?

I noticed a weird spot in my 6 month old pool. It seemed like there was a plastic like material sticking out. Today I went under water to check that spot and I saw that the pebbles are almost non-existant on that spot. It's right below the spa spillover. I will try to take an under water picture but attaching few pictures - one of the spot from above water and another one of the plastic-like material I plucked out of there. Any idea what this could be? And should I be worried about it?

I posted this on FB as well and people started laughing at the pics in which I have the plastic on my index finger. They thought it was something wild/vulgar. So thought of clarifying before someone's imagination went wild here.

Possibly from the lining of the plaster bag, when making up the mix the pebble bags are split open above the hopper then dumped into the mix exposing the clear plastic liner. View attachment 497326
Thank you so much for your reply. So should I assume there is nothing to worry about? Someone said it could be the plaster coming off and I have been freaking out since then.

What I see in pictures 3 & 4 do not look like plaster to me. Whatever it is should not be in the mix and the amount of it will determine its impact on the finish.
How do I figure out the amount of it? And should I be worried about it? I don't see any more of it. The finish other than this seems pretty nice. Very even and consistent distribution of pebbles.

More than likely that’s all to be found, keep an eye out for any other spots and advise your PB/plaster installer of the situation so they are aware of the findings.
Did a quick look around the entire pool surface and didn't find anything. But not sure if there is more at this spot. Even if there is, what could go wrong because of this? And given it's PebbleSheen, I would think this should be taken care of under warranty?
