pH and TA

Your ph will rise in a spa- there’s no stopping that unless you don’t use it or run the pumps.
With a lower ta it just won’t rise quite as aggressively.
As @Bperry said - any ta 50 or above is fine. Some find they are fine at 40 & do not experience “ph bounce” YMMV
Adding borates (boric acid) can also help moderate ph rise a bit.
Once ta is where u want it (50ppm for many) you then want to then only lower ph to mid 7’s or a scootch higher - big dips will drop the ta. Then you’ll be adding baking soda & back on the merry go round.
Ph in Mid to high 7’s is totally fine - even hanging at 8.0 for a little bit is ok. So long as ph spends most of its life in the 7’s you’re good 👍🏻

pH is 7.5, TA is 75. I thought TA had to be 80-120.
