Pentair Quad DE Filter - O-ring lube or no?

UPDATE: I completed my filter change and the Magic Lube II worked great. THANK YOU!
I followed all the filter change instructions here and in manual. I had a little bit of cloudiness in my spa. But, part of me thinks it's from the POOL guy who did it last time and maybe some DE I didn't notice that got into the tank and returns (he had some clumps). The cloudiness was gone in 30-40 minutes and I didn't notice any accumulation or major issues.
