Hi, I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction to repair my pool heater. I get E04 and ignition lockout errors. I have done the following steps:
1- Replaced the igniter ( Direct brand DB2604 120V igniter to replace Pentair 472604)
2- Replaced the motor capacitor ( Capcom 27L570, 5Uf)
3- Checked the motor pressure sensor using a continuity test, and it seems to be working.

I called Pentair for support, but to no avail. Any recommendation what part I should replace next?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to TFP.

Throwing replacement parts at a problem is rarely a good strategy.

You need air, fuel and spark.

Is the blower running?

You replaced the igniter. Did you check the resistance of the new igniter?

You check your gas pressures using a manometer?

Old heaters often have corroded malfunctioning gas valves.

They can also have flame sense problems due to corrosion. Read Heater Flame Sensing - Further Reading

You have much corrosion in the heater?

Post pics of the inside of the heater.

The blower fins start to deteriorate over time, if they are in bad shape the heater can become a fire hazard. I would inspect blower fins. Check tubing to afs and clips. Check for any clogs at the blower orifice that connects to the tubing.
