I opened my pool yesterday and everything seemed fine. Today I went out and saw that my heater had two lights on, one for "Heating" and one for "Service System Light." The screen showed "888." Prior to this, I had not turned the heat on myself, aside from briefly at pool opening, which worked.
Nothing I did changed anything, including letting the pump run on full.
Eventually I gave up and just turned off the heater breaker for 10 seconds and turned it back on. Now it's totally blank, doesn't respond to anything, seemingly no power.
Is it time to call the pool company or an electrician? Any recommendations for diy?
