Hey guys, glad to hear things are working out.
You don't need to drain the pool to bead blast the tile. Just down the bottom of the tile. First, vacuum the pool real good, then go ahead and drain to the bottom of the tile, then bead blast. Now vac the pool again to recover your beads! You could probably just use a fine screen in the pump basket (will fill up fast though), or an inline strainer, so you wont have to wash them out of the filter element.
