Recently had a Pentair IntelliFlo installed and I wanted opinions on what everyone thinks is better used for the pump setting. Should I use GPM and set it so that I get one turnover per daytime run hours or should I use RPMs at a set speed? I am sure this can vary from pool to pool but wanted input on what others have chosen as the best option. Thank you.

Turnover isn't important. But whether you choose GPM or RPM, use the same units for ALL the speeds -- mixing GPM and RPM will produce unexpected results.
FWIW, I use GPM for all of my speeds except the very slowest "Pool" speed that runs all day in the background, which is RPM (do as I say, not as I do).

I was wondering if using GPM or RPM is better when setting different programs in the intellicenter. I assume GPM is better in theory since it adjusts based on filter resistance and other things but I wasn't sure if it's actually that smart/ good. Also I noticed that the set GPM in the pump is...
