My approx 10 year old Pentair Clean and Clear 150 is slowly leaking from where the top and bottom section connect. I am still using the original o-ring, which looks okay. Any suggestions on what actions I should take to repair? Thank you

The first step is to separate the halves, thoroughly clean both sealing surfaces, and check the o-ring for nicks or cracks. Then, re-lube the o-ring with silicone lubricant and reassemble. Ensure that you are evenly tightening the band clamp by lightly tapping around its perimeter with a rubber mallet while tighten the clamp bolt. If it still leaks then the next step is to change the o-ring.
