Patch or replace vinyl liner?

Have a 2-3 inch gash in floor of Intex vinyl liner. Been patching it for several years now, but standard vinyl repair patches sold at wally world seem to last one season if that, i imagine due to pool chemicals, and intense UV light here in AZ. Pool is now obsolete Intex Sequoia Spirit 16' with fake wood wall, probably about 10 yrs old now. Any PERMANENT patches available? Or due to age, best to replace by now?

I patched for several years. Same story. After one season, the edges lifted off and I was worried that my cleaner would pull up the patch.
So, when we had the money, we replaced the liner. It was 10 years old at that time, too.

I'd say that with a 10 year old liner you got your money's worth out of it!
