Paramount pop up pressure

I have a six port Paramount pop up system and whenever I install my (new) module (gears are fine), the pressure rises ~10 psi and will not cycle through the zones. Seems to stick on one zone! All of the six heads rise and shoot water when module is removed. This is an older pool with 2 inch pipes and 2hp pump. Pressure is 22 psi without module, 33 when installed.

Thoughts??

Those mixing valves are fun to work with. I'd open it up and check if any debris is trapped in it. I've had the smallest debris get trapped inside and make it so that it won't cycle properly.

I’ve checked everything externally and the gears are fine, none of the ports are stuck. It does rattle when I shake it! Is that normal? As I mentioned before this is a newer module…
