Im having a hard time getting my chemistry levels correct.

I use No more problems 1x per week maintenance dose.

1. Is it true that I don't need to shock my pool?

2. Should my chlorine level be lower because if the ozone system?

3 I run the pump 6 hours on, 6 off. 10 am - 4 pm. 10npm to 4 am.

4. What should my numbers be with the ozone system?

Howdy Larry, welcome to Trouble Free Pools :)

I'm sorry to tell you that that ozone device was pretty much a waste of money. They require chlorine for pool wide sanitation, so why buy this undersized device. You can't test for it, the only water it effects is the small amount going over the bulb but once that is past, it doesn't maintain or provide any sanitation for the rest of the pool. Many have come here and said their bulbs died and they never noticed a change in water condition or chem levels. Ouch, huh?

So since you still use chlorine I am going to provide the links for the basics here:
Pool Care Basics
You'll find what your levels should be.

Tell me more about your pool and equipment.

We also want pool owners to be able to test properly all elements they'll need to monitor to protect the pool and water.
I use the TF-Pro Salt, from www.tftestkits.net but the other good test kit is the Taylor K-2006C which you can buy online.

Holler back with questions, ok?
