Have you been in it to feel it? That does NOT look good..........BUT it might be a "boo-boo" ??? Have you talked to your plaster person?

Haven't been able to get in but someone is coming out in the next couple of hours to look at it.Have you been in it to feel it? That does NOT look good..........BUT it might be a "boo-boo" ??? Have you talked to your plaster person?

No concerns in general but we're thinking it's just about where one of the weep holes for the gunite was so maybe something didn't take there.I am glad I will not be the one getting in-burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Keep us in the loop please.
Is this an area you had any concerns about before the plaster?

Ok deep breath. It was an optical illusion. The wife was able to jump and and realize it's a black streak not a crack. So all good. Grabbed some night pics anyway. Working on getting Alkalinity up now.awwwwwww they should have put some kind of patch there before they plastered. I hope it is an easy fix.

Thanks for the reminders. The wife and I have both been trying to get educated. We successfully converted our hot tub to the tfp method about a month ago and it's been so much more stable and predictable. Looking forward to trying it on the pool. So far Alkalinity good, pH good, ch good, working on FC and CYA slowly. That is awesome news..............Good for you wife for taking on that COLD water! BURRRR
