Hi, I opened my pool and the water was clear and still had 10ppm of FC in it. When I closed several months ago, I brought chlorine up to 24ppm (SLAM level). Given it still has a good amount of FC when opening, is it necessary to SLAM pool at this point? Thanks!

Just wanted to ensure it's well mixed. It sat and stratified for months. Once it's run for a full day, you can trust the test results.
Going forward (or at times like this), if you *ever* wonder if something is brewing, don't wonder, Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. OCLTs are free and will definitively give you the answer.
