Opening a muratic acid jug

Anyone have any slick techniques for gracefully and efficiently opening a jug of acid? Seems that whatever I do I end up having to rinse off my hands or some other implement and then the leftover film that once sealed the jug always seems to interfere with pouring it neatly. :brickwall: I must be missing something.

I grab a stick out of the yard... (I have a lot of trees). I then just poke a hole in the seal.
I don't even try to take the seal off the top of the bottle.

I use a plastic knife to cut the liner then (while by the pool) tear the rest of the liner off with my hand and plunge my hand into the water. I guess I should say the bottle is sitting on solid ground (usually the spa ledge) so there's no sloshing while I do this.
